We have extensive experience in every type of construction from Interior Remodeling to Civil Construction or even Specialty MEP projects. Our capabilities and experience are unmatched. 

Times Construction is a Houston Based General Contractor which was incorporated in the State of Texas in June, 1995. The entire operation of Times Construction was concentrated in providing construction services for commercial buildings, and it has already successfully completed over sixty projects for different departments of the City of Houston. 

Times Construction, under the Hire Houston First program, is recognized by the Office of Business Opportunity of City of Houston as a CITY BUSINESS (CB) / LOCAL BUSINESS (LB) enterprise. 

The company is headed by Mr. Zafaranian, a civil engineer with a vast knowledge of the construction industry and over forty years of experience as manager. In addition to the above, he has a great deal of experience in collaborating with prominent architects through design phases of complicated and challenging projects. 

The daily construction activities of the company’s projects are handled by its vice president, Mr. J. B. White, LEED AP. Mr. White has graduated from A&M University and is an experienced design and construction manager with detailed knowledge of various aspects of commercial building construction. 

The financial affairs of the company are handled by the other vice president of the company, Ms. Negar Rowe. Ms. Rowe has a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Houston and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. 

The on-site supervision of the work in progress is handled by Mr. Alex Jahir. Mr. Jahir is a civil engineer, who has graduated from the University of Houston and has completed additional courses related to the safety of the construction sites and quality control of the work in progress. 

Over the last several years, the average annual revenue of the company derived from its construction activities has been about five million dollars. The construction work was generally handled through reliable and qualified subcontractors, who were guided by highly educated and experienced full-time employees of the company.

The company has a solid financial status, and is currently capable of obtaining surety bonds in an aggregate program of $20,000,000. 

Times Construction has not had any lawsuit or arbitrations with an owner and has a reputation of having a “partnering” approach to projects and working closely with the architects, project managers, and owner representatives. Due to such work philosophy, the company has rarely encountered any differences with other members of the project team. In such rare occasions, the differences were always resolved in an amicable way, without any necessity for the project to go to claim, litigation, mediation, or arbitration with the owner. 

Times Construction has never failed to complete a project for any reason, including but not limited to financial reasons, labor disputes, failure of employees to perform, or any other reason. The company has always met and exceeded clients’ goals for MWDBE participations. 

1.2.  Company’s Experience :

Over the past twenty years, Times Construction has successfully completed all types of commercial projects with different sizes and characteristics. Some of the projects were performed in locations of minimal space and access as well as in occupied worksites or in emergency situations.
